Travis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been practicing since 2001. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Idaho State University and his Master of Social Work degree at Eastern Washington University. Travis is the President of Teton Counseling Center and founded this practice in 2005. In addition to owning his practice, He is also the Clinical Mental Health Director for Upper Valley Child Advocacy Center, which is a non-profit agency focusing on helping children who have experienced trauma.
He works with clients of all ages including children, adolescents, and adults. Travis is a certified Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT), a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapist (EMDR), and has extensive training in Advanced Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and specializes in Pornography Addictions and Attachment Issues. Other areas of training include depression and anxiety disorders, anger management, post traumatic stress disorder, trauma recovery, conflict resolution and marriage counseling. Not only does Travis enjoy working with individuals and families in the clinical setting to help them improve aspects of their lives, as well as doing lectures and seminars in the community to educate and address various topics of interest.
